This project stemmed from a hail storm that caused significant damage to both the roof and its metal components.

Since the existing shingle type had been discontinued by the manufacturer, this allowed the homeowner to receive a comprehensive roof replacement, fully covered by insurance. The situation showcases how product discontinuation can sometimes work in a homeowner’s favor during an insurance claim, resulting in a complete roof renovation and potentially improved protection for the home.
